Sportstec is excited to be kicking off the Ligne
Nationale de Volley training. Our support manager in
Europe, Lionel Bonnaure, will traveling to 13
different sites to train over 42 users on our new
product, Mercury The Volleyball Version. It is a huge
task and we wish him the best of luck.
Mercury The Volleyball Version is a windows based program designed specifically for volleyball. Mercury knows the international rules of volleyball. So, most of the logical data entry is done for the user. It employs smart algorithms to code player actions and predict where they are during the match. Qualitative analysis is coded for each player and hit according to the user's setup. Using the setter's decisions, quality of decisions can judged by ball trajectories and court zone data. All this makes rapid data entry and analysis possible during a live event.
Ball trajectory is tracked and reports can be generated by match, team, player, zone, and quality (++,+,0,-,--). It is possible to export the statistics live to a website, so fans, coaches, and players can keep track of the match.
Currently, Mercury The Volleyball Version is only available in French and only on windows. In the year to come, we are planning on a Mac version and will start on other sports too.
LNV users can download the latest release in the Downloads section.
