Quicktime 7.5 - Hold off on updating

Apple released Quicktime 7.5 today.

Please hold off on updating your system until further notice. We cannot find any release notes except for those regarding security.

From the first look, it appears to be only security updates, but you never know what might have been slipped in there.

Here is a link to the information about the security updates.

Mac OS X 10.5.3 Release

Apple release Mac OS X 10.5.3 last week. This release is a substantial download with a considerable amount of fixes.

From our initial testing, SportsCode and SportsCode Gamebreaker are running well on this update.

Please see Apple's website describing the fixes, etc. If any apply to you, then run the update. If your system is working well, then there is no need to update.

Mac OS X 10.5.2 and Quicktime 7.4.5 All Clear

We have now been running the latest OS and Quicktime updates for the last month and we have found no problems.

Please feel confident in updating your systems.

As we always say, if it ain't broke don't fix it. So, if your system is running good, then don't update it.

Mac OS X 10.5.2 - Do not update

Please hold off updating to Mac OS X 10.5.2.

We have not seen any problems as of yet, but we require more time to test.

Quicktime 7.4.1 - All clear to upgrade

After testing the latest release of Quicktime, version 7.4.1. We have found no issues using this with Sportscode, Gamebreaker or Studiocode.

This Quicktime update released on Feb. 6th, appears to be mainly comprised of security updates and some third-party application fixes. I was only able to find that the third party fixes were for Adobe After Effects relating to keyframes in the "animation" process.

There are some complaints out there on several forums stating problems with the update and its effects on other software.
If anyone experiences problems, please email us straight away.
