Sportstec Global Distributor & Staff Conference
During the first week of October 2008 Sportstec held its Global Conference for staff and Authorised Distributors. The meeting was the forum to release a number of new products and train everyone on the many new features in existing products.
Guest speakers included Rhys Long from Welsh Rugby Union, Eric Revno from the University of Portland and Redzuan Ponn from the ISN, Malaysia. All the speakers shared a similar theme of enhancing performance through asking more and more of the information available. The message was very clear ...... “the more filtered information we can deliver faster the more opportunity we have to effect a change.....” Sportstec products were used by all speakers as a critical part of their coaching tools.
The meeting also saw the presentation of the Regional and Global awards.
Doug Roberts, Digital Tech Solutions was awarded American Distributor of the Year, Fitness Apollo Japan the Asian Distributor of the Year and Gijs van Heumen won both the European Distributor of the Year and the overall Global Distributor of the Year Award.
The Sportstec distribution network embraces 25 countries and annually contributes over 20% of the global business.
